So there’s a large window in my bathroom. And you’ve probably figured out where this is going. It’s a regular sized window, placed directly over the bathtub with mini blinds. Directly outside of this window is a staircase, that, in the previous six months I’ve been at my apartment, has never been used. Not once. I’ve never seen anyone on it, it’s not shoveled, there’s not even a path to the stairs shoveled. The mini blinds are turned so if you’re driving by the alley, or you’re on the ground outside, you can’t see in. But if you’re above the window, you can see right on in.
So I climb into the shower, and am adjusting the temperature, when I think I hear a noise behind me. I turn around, and lo and behold, there’s a guy right outside my window, on the stairs. Who just so happend to be at exactly the right angle to see Everything perfectly clear.
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten out of a shower that fast in my life. Needless to say, that window is now covered so that it can never happen again (just incase you’re thinking anything funny).
And now all I can think (in my paranoid thoughts) is could it be related to this?
I learned this morning that I desperately need to invest in a pair of boots. Either that or I’ll have to stop climbing through snow up to my knees (especially when it’s only 2 degrees above zero)….The next couple posts will all be from pictures I took this morning because I really like how a lot of them turned out.

This is an image I scanned from an older picture I took (before I had a digital camera) using a pentax k1000. It still takes amazing black and whites, especially considering it’s over 25 years old.

Yes, that is their scientific name.
On a separate note, I highly recommend Winkflash ;) for printing digital pictures. They’re the cheapest place I’ve seen, and the pictures turn out very, very well. It’s easy and convenient (done online), and gives you options that you don’t always find in stores.
I knew I shouldn’t have mentioned anything about work in the last post. Mentioning possibly having to do a sixteen cursed me, and once again this morning, I’m working a sixteen. Which means, as of ten o’clock this morning, I will have worked 32 of the previous 40 hours. That, should never happen. And it’s only because I traded my night shift that I’m not coming back in for 12 more hours tonight.
I’m looking more and more forward to getting away from work and going to the symphony tonight. I don’t know why…
Update: Well, to be fair, I didn’t quite work the whole sixteen the second night. My relief came in an hour and an half early. So it was only 30.5 out of the previous 38.5…And the symphony was awesome.

I continue in color, since this neck of the woods is under another “winter storm warning”. Should mean work will be quiet, except for accidents. I just hope that I’m not there for another sixteen, with the snow not letting my relief get to work…
