I’m not sure I like this picture, but I’m posting it anyways. Simply because I had to stand in the middle of the road at 2am to take it, and as long as I’m risking my life to take a picture, I may as well show it off. I do like the street light centered at the top of the structure and the moon just kinda sitting there…

The stars are my favorite part of this picture….

This is one of my favorite pictures in quite a while. I love the reflection you can barely make out through the rising steam. This photo just relaxes me, and I like that.

But I like how the photo turned out….

I went out last night (well, about one in the morning) and took some pictures around the Duluth/Superior area. This is the Murphy Oil Refinery in Superior. I’ve wanted to go take pictures here since last Fall when I first saw it at night. I couldn’t then because I was out playing with Superior’s Emergency Response Team, and I don’t really have a good excuse for not going back after that. I suppose it’s something about not living over here and the cold, cold weather in the winter….At any rate, I finally made it, and I have about a dozen pictures that I really like so they’ll be posted in the next couple weeks.
